I was very touched and sorry for your mother's loss.
Thanks to your descriptions, I'm sure she was a very special and empathetic person and I know how much you loved her. I'm sure she represented and still represents your inner strength, your positivity, and I'm equally sure you will not disappoint her in your lifetime.
I can imagine how hard it can be, especially on your birthday, but surely she would like to see you operative, vital, active protagonist of your life and as far as I think it is not always easy, with time you will succeed, for you and for her. You really look like her.
I know what it means to lose beloved ones, but although it may seem obvious to say, they will always stay with us. We keep them within us, their gestures are ours, their looks are in our eyes, the virtues, the received teachings that we repeat over time.She is close to you, knows you and knows how you feel and what you need.
